Who can use your services?
Our services are available exclusively to authorised clients who meet the necessary regulatory requirements. This typically includes:
- Government departments and agencies

All clients must undergo verification before services can be provided.
What is Section 5 authority?
Section 5 of the Firearms Act 1968 covers prohibited weapons and ammunition. Authority under Section 5 is granted by the Home Office and permits the possession, purchase, acquisition, manufacture, sale or transfer of prohibited weapons.
GJW Engineering holds the appropriate Section 5 authority to handle prohibited items on behalf of authorised clients.
How do I verify my organisation is eligible?
During the initial enquiry process, we will discuss your organisation's requirements and the regulatory framework under which you operate. We will advise on what documentation and authorisations are required.
Common requirements include proof of Section 5 authority, valid firearms certificates, or evidence of Home Office approval for specific activities.
What areas do you cover?
We provide services throughout the United Kingdom — England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland — and the Isle of Man, which has its own firearms legislation and is handled as a distinct jurisdiction. Our logistics network enables us to collect and deliver across the UK and Isle of Man.
For international requirements, please contact us to discuss the specific considerations and whether we can assist.
